NASA - Project Valkyrie

Project Valkyrie focused on documenting and promoting research around NASA’s Valkyrie humanoid robot, one of the most advanced robots of its kind, developed by NASA-JSC and delivered to the University of Edinburgh for ongoing research at the Edinburgh Centre for Robotics.

I was brought onto the project by the Creative Director to support video editing and develop engaging graphics and motion elements across a series of films. Working closely with the wider creative and academic teams, I helped translate complex robotics research into accessible, visually compelling content.

My contribution centred on enhancing narrative clarity and visual impact through motion graphics, animation and pacing, ensuring the films were informative while remaining engaging for non-technical audiences. Several episodes were screened at the Edinburgh Science Festival, where the series was very well received.

Girls in Tech

Informatics students share their passion for tech, in a series of films launched to celebrate International Women’s Day, 8 March 2017. I worked closely with Access All Areas Films to edit the footage, colour grading, and created accompanying motion graphics. Client - School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh

HALSPAN

Halspan, a leading fire door expert set the brief to provide a corporate video with accompanying titles to represent the vision for the company's ambitions. I worked on the story board, selected appropriate stock video and audio and produced animated titles and edited the film.

Below is a video produced for Halspan showcasing Halspan Verified. A first in the industry, The Halspan Verified quality assurance scheme covers the entire supply chain - from production, testing and supply to the fabrication, installation and maintenance of both standard and custom fire doors (FD) and non-fire rated (NFR) doors. I was subcontracted to Keeble Creative agency as the video editor and motion designer for this project and more.
